2006 Ford Mustang Brochure

We look at the the cover of the 2006 Ford Mustang brochure and we see “The Legend Continues”, they are reminding us that the Mustang has been around for 41 years at this point at it’s still turning heads. Whether you choose the convertible or coupe the V-6 or the Mustang GT. The Mustang has been in over 600 movies over the years and it has fan clubs on 5 continents. That’s quite an accomplishment for an automobile and Road Track has even said that this is the best Mustang ever.

The Mustang GT for 2006 is equipped with a 4.6L 3 valve V-8 engine that creates 320 ft. lb. of torque and 300 horsepower. That kind of power under the hood of the Mustang GT means you can hit 60 mph in only 4.9 seconds. Also shown here in the 2006 Ford Mustang brochure is the 4.0L V-6 engine that cranks out 240 ft. lb. of torque and 210 horsepower. No matter which power plant you choose it will be coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission if you prefer.

The 2006 Mustang is about more than performance, both engine options now run cleaner than ever and pump less pollutants in to the atmosphere. The Mustang comes with a standard Anti-Theft System and a Personal Safety System that consists of dual stage airbags for driver and passengers that work together with the 3-point safety belts. The Mustang also features a 30% more rigid chassis and frame that improves braking, handling, feel and safety.
